Candle Care & Maintenance
Trim the wick:
Always trim your wick to about ¼ inch before each burn. This helps the candle burn evenly and prevents soot.
First burn:
Let the wax melt across the entire surface the first time you light it. This creates an even “memory pool” and helps prevent tunneling.
Burn time:
Do not burn for more than 3–4 hours at a time to keep the candle safe and even.
Placement:
Always burn candles on a heat-resistant surface. Keep away from drafts, flammable materials, pets, and children.
Extinguishing:
Gently blow out the candle or use a snuffer. Avoid splashing wax.
Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, to preserve scent and color.
